Cold Case: Golden Valley Murders

By Caroline Lowe, WCCO-TV

(WCCO) -- One gun connects the random murders of two innocent young men in Golden Valley, Minn. six months apart in the mid-90s.

Loren Busse, 28, was shot riding his bike home from work in August 1995 on a residential street.

Six months later, Dan Neus, 29, was shot walking his dog in another part of Golden valley.

CSI-type ballistic tests confirm the same 40-caliber semi automatic gun was used in both killings. A $50,000 reward has been offered to help solve the cold-blooded murders.
