Woman allegedly took nearly $55,000 from parent teacher group, but paid all the money back
A woman who served as treasurer of the parent teacher organization of a Lakeville Elementary School has been charged with stealing thousands of dollars from the PTO’s funds. According to authorities, 45-year old Lisa Bostic Miller stole nearly 55-thousand dollars from the organizations accounts. The thefts occurred shortly after Miller lost her job in October of 2008. The Dakota County Attorney says Miller did pay the money back, but she’s charged with two counts of felony theft and two counts of misdemeanor theft.
