An IRS agent from Circle pines has been charged with accepting a bribe in a deal made with two business owners. Federal officials say 40 year-old Roger Coombs agreed to accept nearly 10-thousand dollars from the business owenrs in exchange for lowering the amount of taxes they owed. Coombs made his first appearance in federal court yesterday. If convicted he could face up to 15 years in jail.
