Erlinder Denied Bail: Can Appeal In Five Days
Twin Cities law professor, Peter Erlinder, Monday was denied bail and remains in a Rwandan jail. However he can appeal in five days according to a report from the Rwandan News Agency. Prosecutors asked that he remain in custody while the investigation continues. Erlinder is accused of denying that genocide occurred in Rwanda in 1994. He has been in the African nation helping with the legal defense of an opposition candidate for president ahead of August elections.
