Two children each flying alone on Delta Airlines both ended up at the wrong destinations. Delta blames it on a paperwork mix-up. Delta says the “paperwork swap” happened when the children were connecting through Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport Tuesday. A girl heading to Cleveland was sent to Boston and a 9-year-old boy, Kieren Kershaw, ended up in Cleveland instead of Boston.
Kieren’s family paid more than 100 dollars for an adult to escort the boy to his connecting flight. He eventually arrived four hours late after Delta put him on a Continental flight. Delta arranged full refunds and gave credits to the families for future travel.
