A mechanic for Delta Airlines was found dead shortly after 5:30 Tuesday morning at Twin Cities airport.
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner has released the name of the Delta mechanic who was killed this morning at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. 47-year old Jesse Paul Stygar of Rosemount died in some sort of accident while working on an Airbus A319. Coworkers found him unconscious in or near the wheel-well of the aircraft at 5:30 this morning at gate G-14. It’s unclear yet what happened, but the medical examiner says Stygar died of a head injury. Airport Police and OSHA are investigating.
