For the second straight year, members of the St Paul Chamber Orchestra have agreed to a pay cut. The musicians have accepted a reduction of 11 percent for the 2010-11 season. Last year the union agreed to a 12 percent cut. The cuts are attributed to the recession and its impact on the SPCO. In Minneapolis, meanwhile, the Minnesota Orchestra says it has topped its goal of raising 43 million dollars for an expansion of Orchestra Hall — including a 5-million dollar gift from Target Corporation.
