One week after a powerful twister pounded Wadena, Minnesota, Governor Pawlenty is revisiting the town and the mayor is holding a State of the City press conference to talk about recovery efforts. Mayor Wayne Wolden meets with reporters at 11 am while the governor visits Wadena at 2 this afternoon. Some 200 homes and businesses were damaged or destroyed. Citizen volunteers have been helping move debris and will continue to do so through Saturday. Anyone wishing to help can call 211 for details. Sunday has been declared a “Day of Rest”.
