Investigators on Site of Wetterling Abduction

Investigators are at a St. Joseph residence near where 11-year-old Jacob Wetterling was abducted in 1989. Several unmarked squad cars, ATV’s and other vehicles are on the scene. The FBI is assisting in search warrant operations. The sheriff has said a court order prohibits him from saying why investigators are at the residence.

 Jacob Wetterling was abducted at gunpoint in October 1989 near the entry to the driveway. He was just a half-mile from his St. Joseph home.
