Authorities are saying very little about their search of the area in St Joseph where 11 year-old Jacob Wetterling was kidnapped at gunpoint more than 20 years ago. That search is expected to wrap up today. More than a dozen vehicles, trailers and earth-moving equipment were seen on the farm property on Wednesday. One source indicated officers were re-tracing their investigation with the help of modern technology which wasn’t available in 1989, when Jacob was abducted. There’s been no trace of Jacob since his abduction — and no one’s been arrested. A 54 year-old man who lives on the property with his parents has been questioned about Jacob in the past. A relative says he’s also given a DNA sample and taken lie-detector tests.
