Person Of Interest Named In Wetterling Case
A man who lives at the farm that was searched this week in connection with the 1989 abduction of Jacob Wetterling says he’s been questioned by authorities numerous times about the boy’s disappearance.
Daniel Rassier spoke to the St. Cloud Times on Friday. He says he has submitted to a lie-detector test, hypnosis and a DNA sample.
He says he has nothing to do with Jacob. He tells the Times: “I didn’t do it.”
Rassier believes investigators came to his property because of new canine resources. He says he’ll do what he can to help.
Jacob was 11 years old when he was abducted nearly 21 years ago by a masked gunman on a road near Rassier’s home. He has not been found, and there have been no arrests.
