Two local residents were a part of the most recent installment of the reality series “The Biggest Loser”.  Sunshine and O’Neal Hampton join Esme in studio to discuss their experience on the show and talk about how they plan to keep fit even though they have left the stringent authority of their TV trainers.

On August 7th and 8th, the third annual Hartford Breast Cancer Ride will take place, starting and ending at the Mall of America.  TC media personality Kevyn Burger is a breast cancer survivor and took part in the event in the past.  She is in studio, along with event board member Maureen Carlson, to talk about the this year’s ride.

If you’re in the mood for some summer reading, you might want to look the way of a new mystery novel available on area bookstore shelves.  Silencing Sam is the latest offering from best-selling author and award-winning investigative journalist Julie Kramer.  The former WCCO-TV journalist is in studio to discuss the book and how her past experience has provided context for her writing.
