The parents of a 5-year-old autistic boy who was critically injured in a St. Paul hit-and-run are pleading for anyone with information to come forward.
Sifon Udoh is the mother of Godswill Udoh, who suffered a brain injury. She says her family is doing its best to cope, and they’re heartened that Godswill’s condition is improving.
The mother says Godswill apparently left the family’s apartment Thursday afternoon by crawling through a window. Authorities say he was in a nearby crosswalk when a driver struck him and sped off without stopping.
An ambulance had already taken him away by the time the frantic parents arrived on the scene minutes later
