Two Killings In Minneapolis

There were two homicides in Minneapolis early Sunday. The first incident occurred about 12-30 Sunday morning in the 38 hundred block of Thomas Avenue North. Officers found an adult male dead and a second adult male with a life threatening gunshot wound. The injured man was taken to North Memorial Medical Center. No report of any arrests.The second homicide was reported about a half hour later. This one was outside a bar in the 22 hundred block of Fourth Street Northeast. When officers arrived they found an adult male dead on the street. Another man was taken into custody. Police are trying to determine what led to the shooting. This brings to 28 the number of homicides in the city of Minneapolis so far this year which compares to 7 at this time a year ago.
