Murder charges are expected to be filed Monday against the man accused in a triple homicide in St. Paul Friday evening.
55 year old Patrick McHugh stands accused in the shooting deaths of three people and the wounding of a fourth in an apparent dispute over the possible sale of his mother’s home. He lived with his mother. Killed were McHugh’s sister 58 year old Mary Malicki, her husband Clyde Malicki and their daughter 33 year old Kristy Malicki. All were from Cottage Grove. Wounded is 58 year old Kathleen Dorgan who is another sister of the suspect. Dara Tucci has known the shooting victims for 25 years. She says they were trying to help the 80 year old mother who had suffered a stroke and were thinking of selling her home where McHugh also lived. McHugh is listed as a part-owner of the home.
