A Freeborn County Commissioner has resigned, days after being charged with 13 felony counts in a theft-by-swindle scheme.
59 year-old Linda Tuttle-Olson is accused of running a scheme that left a dozen victims out of more than 1 Million dollars. Many of the victims had placed tens of thousands of dollars in escrow accounts managed by Tuttle-Olson’s company, Albert Lea Abstract. A criminal complaint says much of the money was used for gambling.
