Recently, we featured a show written by students from the Perpich Center for Arts Education and performed at the International Thespians Festival in Lincoln, NE.  Two recent graduates of the school did another set of performances at the same event and are ready to perform their works at the Minnesota Fringe Festival, which starts next week.  Andrew Watkins, director and playwright of Digging A Hole, and actress Torey Thompson join the show on the phone and in-studio to talk about the project.

The Gospel at Colunus will be back on the Twin Cities’ scene starting late next week.  The Steele family (Javeeta, J.D., Fred, and Billy) join Jearlyn in-studio to talk about the show that really got things kick started.  This run will start the Ordway’s 2010-2011 season, going from August 5th through the 11th.
