Minnesota students are posting slightly higher scores in science than a year ago. That’s according to new results from the science portion of the MCA-II test, which was taken by 5th and 8th grade and high school students this spring.Nearly 52 percent of high school students were proficient, up from 49.5 percent last year. Eighth-graders’ scores improved by five percent and the fifth graders’ performance held steady
