Looks like 31st homicide of the year

Minneapolis police are asking for the public’s help in solving a fatal shooting.  Shortly after 9pm Wednesday, officers responded to a shots fired call in the 29-hundred block of 5th Avenue South. When they arrived they found a man with an apparent gunshot wound on the boulevard. He died before emergency crews could get him to the hospital.  Police Spokesman Sgt. Bill Palmer says they don’t know the motive, and they don’t have many leads.  

Palmer is hoping anyone with information about the shooting calls police.
