Heavy rains caused street flooding in the Twin Cities during the night.1 and a quarter inches of rain fell at MSP Airport, and waist-high water was reported in such areas as Uptown Minneapolis. Numerous cars stalled in the high water.  In Roseville, Har Mar Mall took on water and employees used wet vacs to remove the water during the night.

Lesser amounts of rain fell in the western metro with higher amounts in the eastern metro and Western Wisconsin.  Five inches of rain fell in River Falls, Wisconsin.
