The Minnesota Fringe Festival ended today, and Rohan Preston has a recap of some of the festivities from the ten-day excursion of shows. He also reviews the Scottsboro Boys, which continues at the Guthrie through September 25th.
The Women’s City Cabaret will be a celebration of the 90th anniversary of the 19th Amendment, giving women the right to vote on a national landscape. Jearlyn will perform and MC the event on Wednesday, August 18th. Another performer will be Saint Paul poet laureate, Carol Connolly. Miss Connolly discusses what this night will mean.
The Old Log Theatre is holding over its current run of The Dixie Swim Club until September 17th. Actress Sally Ann Wright talks about the play with Jearlyn.
