One Dead After High-Speed, Wrong-Way Crash
State Patrol says four vehicles were involved.
At least one person is dead following a wrong-way crash that involved several vehicles in the East Metro this morning. The crash happened just before 4:30 this morning on Interstate 35-E at County Road 96 in White Bear Lake. The State Patrol says a wrong-way driver doing a high rate of speed struck several vehicles. The accident is listed as a fatal, and because of that, reconstruction had to be done, which forced the closure of southbound 35E.
