Saint Paul’s Lowertown district is gearing up for its annual music festival.  Concrete and Grass producer Steve Heckler goes over this year’s lineup, which will play at Mears Park the weekend of September 9th-11th.

The Scottsboro Boys continues to get praise from critics and audiences alike.  This historical-based musical is on its way to the lights of Broadway.  But before the show scurries to New York, the Guthrie will continue to host it until September 25th.  Actor Christian Dante White talks about the show and the Twin Cities.

It’s another year of well-known acts gracing the Grandstand at the State Fair.  But who’s in the 2010 lineup?  Star Tribune music critic John Bream breaks down the schedule.

This year will mark the 5th anniversary of the Stillwater Music Festival.  The festival will run on select dates and various venues from August 24th through the 31st.  Eric Jacobsen, participating musician and co-founder of the event, tells us who will be playing this year.
