Two separate accidents in northeast Minneapolis have left a woman dead and a bicyclist in “very grim” condition. A man believed to be about 30 years old was riding a motorized bike when he collided with a drunk driver on Monroe Street northeast. He was in very critical condition when taken to the hospital. The driver was arrested. And a woman believed to be in her mid 80s was killed when a car she was riding in struck a pole at East Hennepin and Central Avenues. It’s believed another elderly woman driving the car had a medical emergency prior to the crash. A nearby SUV struck a school bus but no one on the bus was injured.
