Former auto mogul Denny Hecker is now being accused of committing crimes after being released on bail.
Prosecutors are accusing Hecker of committing federal crimes while awaiting his trial on 24 counts of fraud and are asking that he be thrown in jail.
According to court documents, Hecker committed multiple additional acts of bankruptcy fraud by secretly liquidating and concealing assets belonging to the bankruptcy estate.
At this hour, Hecker is still free and his attorney says he will remain free until a hearing scheduled for Sept. 8 when prosecutors will ask a judge to jail him immediately
