An off-duty Lakeville police officer was killed in a motorcycle crash last night. Brigham Strole, a 20-year-veteran of the Lakeville Police Department, lost control of his motorcycle on Jordan Court near Jonquil Avenue around 9pm. He was airlifted to Hennepin County Medical Center were he died. A witness says Strole’s motorcycle appeared to sway back and forth before the crash and then flipped, ejecting Stole. He was not wearing a helmet. No one else was involved in the accident and the State Patrol is investigating.
