Minnetonka-based Cargill Corporation has recalled ground beef linked to illnesses from a rare strain of E. coli.More than 8-thousand pounds of hamburger was pulled Saturday after health experts determined it was the likely source of an E. coli strain that made three people ill in New York and Maine.  It’s the firsttime in the U-S public health officials have linked recalled ground beef to illnesses from a rare strain of E. coli.
