Robber With Unique Disguise Sentenced
A Brooklyn Park man was sentenced today to nearly six years in prison for robbing a credit union in Inver Grove Heights last year. 44-year-old Herman Wilson pleaded guilty to 1 count of bank robbery for the holdup at the Minnesota Building Trades Federal Credit Union in October of 2009. He admitted wearing a disguise including a construction vest, goggles and a surgical mask when he took more than $21,000 from the credit union. He also admitted brandishing a gun during the robbery and threatening to kill the tellers.
