A Minnesota woman has been sentenced to more than 2 years in prison for stealing more than $709,000 from her employer. Carol Lynn Silus admitted in her plea agreement to embezzling the money from her employer between 2001 and 2007. She also admitted to filing a false tax return. The name of her employer has not been released, but prosecutors say she was hired as a nanny and household helper.
