 Train Derails In Western WI

Authorities are investigating a train derailment in Hager City, Wisconsin. Around 7:20 this morning, nine freight cars went off the tracks in Hager City northeast of Red Wing.

BNSF Railway Spokesperson Amy McBeth says it happened near a Nestle Purina plant in Hager City.  She says one of the derailed cars caused some damage to the plant, but no one was hurt.

It’s not known what caused the train to leave the tracks.

I’m a train-rail fan, I video recod trains go by alot. I’m suprised and not suprised. Because it is a high speed double track line, the trains do go fast on the 2 tracks. That’s good there were both injuries or death. Hopefully BNSF can get it cleared so I can get to hager city again.
