Anderson-Kelliher Finalist For Parks Post
Former House Speaker Margaret Anderson Kelliher is one of three finalists to head the Minneapolis Parks and Recreation Department.
Kelliher is a resident of Minneapolis but has no experience in park management. She lost the DFL primary for governor last month and did not file for another term in the legislature.
The other finalists are Stanley Motley, who heads the park system in Fulton County, Georgia and steve Rymer, who directs parks in Morgan Hill, California.
The Minneapolis Park Board plans to interview the finalists in October.
