In his final hour on Tuesday, Chad talked about the Senate not overturning the military’s “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy, and took listener calls…
I was so pleased that you spoke courageously about gays in the military and perhaps even hinted that there is a distinct lack of courage in Congress for its close minded stance. You spoke so well about gays being born gay, and being just people. I am in my mid sixties; I am disgusted with Congress for its backward nasty vote. This is embarrassing for our country and its inability to stand up for its citizens. I became a fan of yours today, and I am delighted that WCCO did not force you to voice no opinion on this.
