For the first time ever, artifacts from King Tut’s tomb are going on display in Minnesota. The Science Museum of Minnesota will host the exhibit starting on February 18th of next year. It will include dozens of artifacts including jewelry and the golden sandals found on the Egyptian ruler’s feet when his mummy was unwrapped. Other items include a 10-foot statue of King Tut and the coffinette that contained his mummified stomach.
The exhibit will cover 16,000 square feet and will remain on display until September 5th of next year. Tickets will go on sale in late November.
