The FBI has conducted a number of raids today at homes of prominent Twin Cities antiwar activists. FBI
Special Agent Steve Warfield says the raids were part of an effort to seek evidence in an ongoing investigation into activities concerning the material support of terrorism. Warfield declined to give addresses of the raids other than two say all were in Minneapolis. But the Star Tribune is reporting two of the residences raided belong to two of the organizers of the RNC protests back in 2008. Warfield says no arrests were made, but he refused to go into details about the investigation, or what may have been seized in the raids.
