Special Session Considered to Help Flood Victims

bluffvalleycampgroundflood22 Special Session Considered to Help Flood Victims

Governor and legislative leaders to meet Monday morning.

More help may be coming for Minnesota towns devastated by last week’s flash floods.  Governor Pawlenty toured Zumbro Falls and Hammond yesterday, two Wabasha County towns which lost between 60 and 90 percent of all homes.

The Governor says lawmakers will do all they can. He’ll meet this morning with legislative leaders about the possibility of calling a special legislative session to get help where it’s needed. We should know by late morning if that’s going to happen.
