Saturday Night with Esme Murphy – 10/2/10

View Comments

Saturday Night with Esme Murphy 10/2/10The introduction of synthetic, or “fake”, marijuana is raising many eyebrows across the country.  It’s said to be linked to the death of an Iowan teen.  Carol Falkowski, drug abuse strategy officer for the Chemical and Mental Health Services Administration (MN Department of Human Services), discusses this substance and its effects.

There have been television shows and movies about the work of criminal profilers.  One real-life profiler talks about her experiences during her career.  Pat Brown, who is also an author and the founder of the Sexual Homicide Exchange, joins the program.

If you have something lying around that might have some value, appraiser James Merrinan could tell you about it.  He returns to the show to assess the antiques of the listeners.

Ruth Lorden is back, and she takes the time to help our listeners see their futures.

Maybe we should legalize the real marijuana then, I have never heard of anyone dying from smoking a blunt. We could solve so many problems if it is leagalized, another thing to tax, less crime… Just a thought!
