The presidents of all 24 fraternities on the University of Minnesota’s Twin Cities campus say they will ban parties for now following a third sexual assault at a fraternity house. The assaults happened at three different fraternities in the last three weeks. In the latest case, police say a woman said she was sexually assaulted at the Phi Gamma Delta fraternity house last Thursday night. The university has notified students by e-mail. Office for Fraternity and Sorority Life spokesman Chad Ellsworth tells WCCO-TV says fraternities will not have guests with alcohol in their houses until further notice.
