  1. Jan Hermes says:

My Dad, Lyle Fylstra in Milaca, MN called me when he had 8 Robins at his feeder on Friday, January 28th at 10:45 in the morning!
They were on his ornamental crab apple tree, plucking crab apples like crazy!!
Dad really knows his birds, so I’m sure he knew what he was seeing.
Thought you might like to know even up north there are still robins!!

  2. Bob Lenertz says:

I live in Waseca county, one mile south of the city off Hwy 13 and this morning (3/7/11) at 8:30 we had our first Robin citing. The robin was seen on our bird bath.

We were at our son’s in Monticello and spotted a pair of European goldfinches feeding at their sock type thistle feeder on Friday, March 25th. Is this possible? Are they normally found here?

Spotted our first bluebird of the season on deck drinking from the bird bath. Sunday March 27th. John from Elk River

  5. DEan Peterson says:

I saw the last hummingbird this past Thursday, October 13th. It’s the latest I have seen one.
