
Vikings quarterback, Brett Favre, offered an apology to teammates Monday for being a distraction but did not admit to the allegations against him. The apology was given at a hotel in New Jersey at a meeting with teammates. The vikings play the jets Monday night. The star quarterback has been accused of sending inappropriate messages and photos by cell phone to a former Jets sideline report when he played for the team in 2008. The NFL has said only it is investigating. It’s possible he could be suspended under the NFL’s personal conduct policy. The woman involved was working for the Jets at the time of the alleged text messages.Favre continues to deal with pain in his throwing elbow caused by tendinitis.
