Two men are dead after separate farm accidents in southern Minnesota.
The Stearns County sheriff’s department says a man died after being run over by a loaded grain wagon at about 6 p.m. Friday in the St. Wendel Township.
The man was helping to unhook the wagon from a tractor when the wagon began to roll away. The sheriff’s department says the victim tried to stop it when he was run over.
About three hours earlier, a 77-year-old Montrose man died after becoming trapped in a grain bin in Wright County. Authorities say the man climbed into a bin to unclog some soybeans when the beans caved in around him.
Neither man has been identified.
