A police officer in Fairmont and a “Good Samaritan” were shot and wounded when they responded to a house fire last night. A third person was found dead. Wounds to the officer and citizen were not considered life-threatening. It’s believed the man found dead was the gunman. Police in that southern Minnesota community are expected to release more information later today.
