Jury Selection Begins In Toddler Death

Jury selection has begun in Hastings in the case of Tylar Hokanson the step father accused of killing 17 month old Nicholas Miller in June 2009.

Hokanson allegedly shook Nicholas 15 to 20 times, and then squeezed him so hard he fractured his vertebra. Nicholas went days with a broken back and a brain injury before he died.  A doctor called it the worst spinal break he has ever seen.  The trial is expected to take one month.
