1 Injured In Columbia Heights Shooting

COLUMBIA HEIGHTS (WCCO) -- Police are investigating after a man was shot in Hilltop, Minn. Tuesday evening, according to Columbia Heights police.

Authorities said the shooting was reported by the victim at 6:26 p.m. from a Tri City Auto Sales on the 4700 block of Central Avenue Northeast.

When police arrived, the victim was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center.

Police describe the suspect as a black man with facial hair, wearing a black stocking cap, gold jacket, black pants and black shoes.

The victim was conscious and talking at the time of the call, but his or her current condition is unknown.
