3 Luring Attempts Near St. Kate's In St. Paul
ST. PAUL (WCCO) -- Three luring attempts have been reported recently on and near St. Catherine University's St. Paul campus, the Department of Public Safety said.
The University issued a crime alert on Nov. 5, the day it learned of the incidents. Two incidents occurred off campus near Randolph Avenue and Fairview Avenue South.
In the first incident, a female student was asked questions about St. Kate's and was followed. The man is described as a Caucasian man, 6-foot-2, late 20s, athletic build, short hair that looks like it had been shaved recently, dark hair, facial hair and wearing a dark raincoat.
In the second incident, a female student was asked if she would come with the suspect to have her pictures taken. There was not an adequate description of the man.
In the third incident, a female student, who was on campus by the tennis courts, was asked by some men to come with them to have some fun. One of the men is described as a Caucasian man, 6-foot-3, buff build, average hair length, wearing a baggy sweatshirt and dark jeans.
