ROSEVILLE, Minn. (WCCO) — The demolition of the Rice Street Bridge over Highway 36 in Roseville has been postponed because of expected rain and snow, the Minn. Dept. of Transportation said Friday.
Highway 36 was to be closed this weekend so the work could be done. It’s been tentatively rescheduled for the following weekend, Nov. 19 – Nov. 22.
The goal of the project is to ultimately rebuild the Rice Street and Rice Street Bridge, as well as side streets between County Road B-2 and County Road B.
The entire project is scheduled to finish by November 2011, a year from now.
