ROSEVILLE, Minn. (WCCO) — The weekend snowstorm has delayed the demolition of the old Rice Street bridge over Highway 36 in Roseville, according to the Department of Transportation.
The demolition has been rescheduled for Nov. 19-21, during which Rice Street will be close between County Road B and Minnesota Street from 10 p.m. Nov. 19 through 5 a.m. Nov. 21.
During the construction, Rice Street traffic will be detoured to County Road B or County Road B2.
Highway 36 will also be closed at Rice Street at which traffic will be detoured up and down the ramps.
The ramp from southbound Interstate 35E to westbound Highway 36 will also be closed.
The replacement of the Rice Street bridge and the reconstruction of Rice Street are expected to be finished in November 2011.
