Frank Vascellaro and his mother Rosalie head to the kitchen to make some delicious chocolate nut crunch candy. Check out the recipe below.
1 package Nestle semi sweet chocolate morsels
1 cup Nestle butterscotch morsels.
2 cups Chow Mien Noodles.
1 can assorted mixed nuts, or you favorite type.
Put the chocolate and butterscotch morsels in a pan and melt them on the stove on low heat.
When they are melted and blended together, add the mixed nuts. Stir the nuts until they are covered with the blended chocolate.
Next, add 2 cups of chow mien noodles. Again, blend all ingredients until covered with chocolate.
Use a spoon to dollop the mix onto a piece of waxed paper resting on a cookie sheet.
After you spoon out all the mix, place the candy in the freezer for at least 2-hours or overnight.
Serve cold from the freezer. Enjoy!
