1 Killed In Crash With Semi Near Le Sueur, Minn.

LE SUEUR, Minn. (WCCO) --A man is dead after a crash involving a semi-truck Monday, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

The state patrol says 22-year-old Benjamin Dirckx of Marshall, Minn. was heading south in a Ford Explorer on Highway 169 just south of Le Sueur when he lost control of the vehicle.

It happened just before 7 a.m. The roads were icy.

The SUV crossed the median and was broad-sided by a semi-truck, killing Dirkx, according to the state patrol.

Le Sueur is southwest of the Twin Cities and about 25 miles north of Mankato.
