BEMIDJI, Minn. (AP) – Bemidji State allowed just 17 shots on goal and Dan Bakala stopped all 17 as the Beavers shut out Northern Michigan 3-0 Saturday in men’s college hockey.
Bakala made just seven saves over the final two periods for the Beavers (3-8-1), who outshot the Wildcats 37-17.
Emil Billberg and Ian Lowe had a goal and an assist each for Bemidji State. Jordan George added the Beavers’ third goal on the power play.
Reid Ellingson made 34 saves for Northern Michigan (3-8-1), which won Friday’s game 4-0. Ellingson made 37 saves in that game.
