Fridley Man Charged With Sex Crimes

MENOMONIE, Minn. (WCCO) -- A 20-year-old Fridley man, who worked as a junior counselor at a Lutheran Bible Camp, has been charged with trying to set up sex with a 15-year-old girl over the internet.

Justin Krohn has been charged with use of a computer to facilitate a child sex crime and attempted sexual assault. He told police he met the teen while he was a counselor at a bible camp in Colfax, Wis.

Investigators say the parents of the teen girl found sexually explicit messages between their daughter and Krohn and reported it to police.

Investigators then created a fake e-mail account, claiming to be a different 15-year-old girl from Menomonie, Wis., and made arrangements to meet with Krohn for sex.

When Krohn arrived at the set location, he was met by police and arrested.
